St. Louis & Detroit

Only Detroit Lions can compare with St. Louis Rams’ 17-game losing streak.
The Rams wants to get some kind of success from the Lions in Ford Field. In the league ,among hte three winless teams ,St.louis is more weak ,and then is the Rams whom scored the fewest points (60).“We have to learn to put four good quarters together,” running back Steven Jackson said. “We don’t know how to win a game right now.”
The Lions ended their losing streak on Sept. 27. and they put all the four talent quaterback ont he field to get the win.
Tampa Bay had a record of 26 straight losses in the league.
“We want to be a physical team and run down the middle, not sideline to sideline,” Jackson said. “The offensive line allowed us to do so in the second half.”
Detroit had his byeweek game ,rookie Matthew Stafford with a knee injury was excepted to come back tehse days.
“This is a hard-working team,” Schwartz said. “There’s a lot of character on this football team, but the bottom line in this business is performance and we have to be very objective when it comes to performance.”
The rookie coach Schwartz is trying his best to keep calm. Hope all the fans with the rams jersey will feel proud of theie one day.

Stafford practices with Lions Tuesday

Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz seems not to reveal the details about the recovery of quarterback Matt Stafford.
Absolutely nothing,” said Schwartz, when asked what he would reveal about Stafford’s participation in Tuesday’s practice. “I do think the bye came at a good time for getting people healthier, and everyone was able to at least do something, but that’s as far as I will go.”
The media can go through Stafford's individual drills;he wasn’t fully involved in the full-team portion of the session.
“I was limited,” he said. “I didn’t get all the reps, but I took a few. This is the most I’ve done on it, and it felt pretty good.”Stafford, though, knows that he’s been down this road before. The last time he tried to go through most of a practice, the knee swelled and he had to have a second MRI.

Dolphins CB Allen say goodbye to season

Miami Dolphins have to go with two rookie cornerbacks beginning Sunday against the New York Jets because of Will Allen’s season-ending knee injury.coach Tony Sparano said Monday that Allen hurt the anterior ligament in his left knee in the Dolphins’ loss to New Orleans. A surgery will be needed.
“They need to mature really fast,” Sparano said. “I don’t know if they’re equipped for 10 games in a row of doing full-time duty without having Will Allen out there. But these guys are playing at pretty good levels.” Sparano now is pay attention to find the most suitable guy or guys to replace Allen's position. 2009 first-round draft pick Vontae Davis and Second-round pick Sean Smith are waiting on the line. The coach himself are not sure about the rookies performance, but what can Sparano do now?The loss of Allen depletes a secondary already under strain. Miami (2-4) has allowed 73 points in the past two games, with pass defense a big part of the problem. The Dolphins rank last in the NFL in yards allowed per completion.
Davis has seen significant playing time as a reserve and on special teams. He played 28 snaps Sunday against the Saints.Smith starts his job in training camp. They both have been projected as the team’s cornerback combo of the future.
Wish Allen recover well.

Benson was commonly stuck going nowhere while with the Bears

Benson’s tumultuous and disappointing three-season stint with the Bears.May Urlacher wish he could

smack his former teammate into submission.“The dude is playing his ass off, and it doesn’t bother

me. I didn’t have a problem with Cedric; he just didn’t fit here, I guess. But we’ve got Matt

Forte(notes) now. It worked out good for him, and it worked out good for us.”Urlacher said

Wednesday.Last august, many fans charged that the Bears had tried to blackball him .It's really a

lie.
