Donovan McNabb-be a real Redskins

Donovan McNabb got a No.5 redskins jersey at Tuesday. We wonder to know the feel to play against the team that traded him away. Donovan McNabb holds his jersey with Skins coach Mike Shanahan at the introduction for a picture. He was smiling.

"I don't look at it as any different than playing the Giants or Dallas," the ex-Eagles quarterback said. "I'm not going to run my head through a locker and start throwing stuff in my house. It's an opportunity to play against another team and for us to bring another win home." But it really means something in terms of the NFC East, it takes on extra meaning for McNabb has to face the Eagles twice a year.

Boos and cheers are also common. Some fans unsatisfied with the team for choosing the QB in the 1999 draft. While after five NFC championship games and one Super Bowl appearance, McNabb would like to remember the good moments and the the shining place he left the franchise. It's pretty a fresh start for him to say good bye to his eagles jersey.

Some palyers visited Steelers

Some guys will have the chance to wear the steelers jerseys. They hosted a trio of defensive backs at team headquarters Wednesday.

The Steelers met with Boise State cornerback Kyle Wilson, Alabama cornerback Kareem Jackson and University of Maryland cornerback Nolan Carroll, according to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation. Wilson, who ran a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day workout, is projected a first-round draft selection. Jackson’s stock is rising to the point where he’s regarded as a first-round possibility. And Carroll, a 4.39 speedster who has recovered from a broken leg, is ranked anywhere from the middle round to the latter portion of the draft.

The guy also visited Dolphins earlier this week and has also conducted a private workout for the AFC East franchise.

Logan Paulsen turns to solid workout

Logan Paulsen turned in a solid workout today at the UCLA Pro Day workout. He was one of the top blocking tight ends in the draft according to a league source.

Per our source, the 6-foot-4, 265-pounder bench pressed 225 pounds 25 times and turned in an 8-11 broad jump. Paulsen caught all but one off-target pass. He ran in the 4.8 to 4.9 range in the 40-yard dash. Paulsen caught 71 career passes for 888 yards and one touchdown. Last season, the three-year starter caught 29 passes for 362 yards. The workout which was heavily attended due to the presence of blue-chip defensive tackle Brian Price, was attended by Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson and Carolina Panthers coach John Fox.

But I think he has the ability to have the NFL jersey.

Bears have three players to one-year deals

Three players will be offered the bears jerseys today. They signed three players to one-year contract.

Linebacker Tim Shaw, running back Kahlil Bell and defensive tackle Matt Toeaina were exclusive rights free agents. They got their business done in time for the beginning of the (voluntary) offseason conditioning program. Shaw made eight tackles on special teams in the Bears’ season finale at Detroit to give him a franchise record 30. It was a remarkable feat, especially considering he didn’t join the roster until Week 2 as the player who replaced Brian Urlacher’s spot on the roster.

Toeaina has spent the last three seasons with the Bears but has rarely been called upon.

Bears Louis troubled in assault charge

Offensive lineman Lance Louis with bears jersey has been sentenced to 40 hours of community service and anger management classes for an altercation that happened while he was playing at San Diego State.

Louis was also sentenced to three years of informal probation and a $565 fine as part of his plea deal with the office after pleading guilty Friday to misdemeanor assault. Authorities say Louis assaulted SDSU teammate Nick Sandford in a team meeting room last fall. Sandford suffered a concussion, broken eardrum and fractured cheekbone.

The Bears have said they were aware of the incident before they drafted Louis. He could be subject to discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Leon Washington's agent responds to comments

The agent for running back Leon Washington with jets jersey responded to coach Rex Ryan's criticism of Washington rehabbing his broken leg on Florida instead of the Jets' training facility.

"Leon is a bit taken back about the reports of him taking a reduced role in 2010, especially since we are 4 months from the opening of camp," Keels wrote in an e-mail to the New York Daily News. "However, Leon is focused on rehab right now so that he can be the dynamic player in 2010 that he has always been.

"How the Jets plan to use him is totally up to the coaching staff, he just wants to be totally prepared for whatever his role will be. Leon has always been a team player and that isn’t going to stop now. Coaches tend to find a way to utilize a guy with his play making ability."

Cardinal Rejoins Minnesota for the stretch run

After a long period of feigned interest in other teams Zydrunas Ilgauskas got his cavaliers jersey at last.

It’s been a month since the Timberwolves won a game, three weeks since they were even able to stay within a half-dozen points of an opponent. To an outsider, the idea of joining this freefall to the finish must seem akin to airlifting onto the Titanic.
To Brian Cardinal, it’s like coming home. "I’m excited to be back. We’re going through some growing pains right now, but I’m excited to be a part of it," the 10-year veteran said Tuesday after rejoining the team that traded him in February. "It’s fun to be back."

It's the Janitor can clean the tough job up.
